Before You Judge Someone, Walk A Mile In Their Shoes

A doctor entered the hospital in a hurry after being called in for an urgent surgery on a young man.
He found the man’s father pacing in the hall who is
waiting for him.
On seeing the doctor, the father yelled,
“Why did you take all this time to come?
Don’t you know that my son’s life is in danger?
Don’t you have any sense of responsibility?”
The doctor smiled and said,
“I’m sorry, I wasn’t in the hospital and I came as fast as I could.
And after receiving the call, now I wish that you just calm down
so that I can do my work.
“Calm down?
What if your son was in the room?” yelled the man.
“Would you calm down?”
The father was angry.
The doctor smiled again and replied,
“I’ll try my best as I always do and you can try to think positively.”
“Giving advice is so easy when we’re not concerned.” said the father under his breath.
The surgery took some hours, after which the doctor went out happy.
He ran out quickly and said, “Thank God” he said to the father.
“Your son is fine.”
And without waiting for the father’s reply,
he carried on his way running out by saying,
“If you have any questions, ask the nurse”.
“Why is he so arrogant?” the father asked him.
“He couldn’t wait some minutes just so that I could ask about my son’s
state?”
The nurse answered, tears coming down her face,
“His son died a couple of days ago in a car accident.
He was at his son’s funeral when we called him for your son’s surgery.
And now that he saved your son’s life,
he left running to complete the ceremony.”
Never judge anyone
because you never know how their life is
and what they go through.

“Giving advice is so easy when we’re not concerned.” said the father under his breath.

Dan tanpa menunggu jawaban sang ayah, dia terus berlari keluar sambil berkata,

“If you have any questions, ask the nurse”.
“Kalau anda ada pertanyaan, silakan tanya perawat”.

“Why is he so arrogant?” the father asked him.
“Mengapa dia begitu sombong?” sang ayah bertanya.

“He couldn’t wait some minutes just so that I could ask about my son’s
state?”

“Dia tidak bisa menunggu beberapa menit supaya saya bisa bertanya tentang keadaan anak saya?”

The nurse answered, tears coming down her face,
Sang perawat menjawab, air mata mengalir dari matanya,

“His son died a couple of days ago in a car accident.”
“Anak laki-lakinya meninggal beberapa hari yang lalu karena kecelakaan mobil.”

“He was at his son’s funeral when we called him for your son’s surgery.”
“Beliau sedang berada di pemakaman anaknya ketika kami menelponnya untuk operasi anak anda.”

“And now that he saved your son’s life, he left running to complete the ceremony.”
“Dan begitu beliau selesai menyelamatkan nyawa anak anda, beliau lari untuk menyelesaikan upacara pemakamannya.”

Never judge anyone because you never know how their life is and what they go through.
Jangan pernah menilai orang lain karena anda tidak tahu hidup mereka dan apa yang mereka alami.
